It has a rich and lustrous violet purple colour with moody flashes of light and dark as the stone catches the light. It is framed within a fine milgrain edged collet setting and measures approx 16mm x 12mm x 8.4mm, which is in the region of 10 carats!\u003cbr\u003eIt has bi-furcated shoulders and a plain band.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eERA : Mid 20th Century, dated 1977.\u003cbr\u003eHALLMARKS : 375. for 9ct gold. Birmingham assay office 1977. A.W.G makers mark stamped inside the shank.\u003cbr\u003eFINGER SIZE : UK : J 1\/2 or US : 6.5. Can be sized.
