Edwardian style Platinum Diamond and Pearl brooch 1920s ~ 1940s
A truly exquisite Platinum diamond and pearl brooch in the Edwardian style dating to around 1920's ~ 1940's.
This brooch is a high quality, beautifully hand crafted piece of fine jewellery. The Platinum setting has a pierced open work design set with real pearls and diamonds of various cuts, old mine cuts, single/eight cuts and rose cuts. The diamonds and pearls are enhanced by finely detailed millegrain hand engraving you get on antique jewellery. Total diamond weight approx 0.65carat.
It comes with a vintage fitted presentation case and inside the lid reads 'For Artistic Jewellery'..... rather apt!
It looks fabulous pinned on a black dress or jacket.
IDENTIFICATION : NONE : tests as Platinum. Faint pawnbroker number.
MEASUREMENTS : It measures 5.1cms x 2.2cms with a pin with safety catch.
WEIGHT : 9 grams
CONDITION : Perfect condition with no wear or issues. Will come with the box pictured.
