Vintage 18ct five stone diamond ring ~ Art Deco c1950's
This is a very pretty vintage five stone diamond ring probably dating from around the 1950's.
This lovely ring was made in England and is crafted in 18ct white and yellow gold.
The pretty illusion star setting has engraved detail designed to enhance the look of the diamonds. The centre and each side of centre are old brilliant cuts and measure 0.08ct and 0.05ct respectively and each end is a single cut of 0.03ct each making an estimated total diamond weight of 0.24 carats. The diamonds are white and bright approx H colour and SI1 clarity.
The gallery is wonderful with amazing pierced detail which is a lovely feature.
The shoulders and band are plain polished 18ct yellow gold band.
HALLMARKS : I think this ring dates to the 1950s and was later hallmarked in 1975 when the hallmarking regulations came in and there was a rush to stamp items with the new requirements. London assay for 1975, 750 for 18ct.
FINGER SIZE : UK : S 1/2 or US : 9.75. Can be sized.
MEASUREMENTS : Setting is 2cm x 5mm. Rises 5.5mm from finger. Band is 2mm wide.
WEIGHT : 4.1 grams
CONDITION : This ring is in excellent vintage condition with no obvious wear or isses, the band has a good thickness.
It will be presented in a lovely new presentation ring box. Old ring box not included.

All of our jewellery comes with a beautiful new presentation box and the ring boxes also have a matching card box tied with a ribbon. Wherever possible we use environmentally friendly, recyclable packaging and pack with care so your item arrives in perfect condition.
Is your jewellery certificated?
In the UK most antique & vintage diamond rings & jewellery do not come with certificates or appraisals. I have 30 years experience selling jewellery and all our items are cleaned, checked and tested by jewellery specialists and gemologists. Some pieces are appraised by a registered independent National Association of Jewellers Appraiser & Valuer and this will be clearly stated on the listing : Certificated Rings
Is your jewellery guaranteed?
Due to the age and nature of antique pieces our jewellery doesn't come with a guarantee, however, we check and test everything carefully and only sell items in good wearable condition that we would be happy to own ourselves.
Do you accept returns?
Yes, we accept returns. Keep the tag on the ring and contact us within 7 days of receiving the item so we can give you the returns address. You have 14 days from receipt to send it back. We do not accept returns for items which have been resized or altered by our jeweller or yours. The return shipping is paid by the buyer and is not refundable.
What is the condition of the item?
All our jewellery has been pre owned so it will show some signs of wear. We are always careful to describe items as accurately and honestly as possible and provide detailed close up images. We never sell anything that has been extensively restored or altered or isn't in good wearable condition. See our Buying Guide
