Art Deco 18ct square setting old cut diamond five stone ring 1930's
This is a fabulous Art Deco five stone diamond ring dating from around the 1930's to 1940's.
This stylish ring was made in England and is hand crafted in 18ct gold.
The stepped square setting has milgrain edged detail and is grain set with five graduated old transitional brilliant cut diamonds.
They are super clean and and white assessed within the setting to be H/I clour and VS2 clarity. The diamonds measure approximately as follows, centre 0.16ct and each side of centre is 0.07ct and each end stone 0.03ct. Total estimate of 0.35 carat. The square illusion setting cleverly gives the impression of a greater carat weight of diamonds, the ring gives a good show on the hand!
The gallery has nice bridged detail and the band is plain polished 18ct yellow gold.
HALLMARKS : 18ct.
FINGER SIZE : UK : N or US : 6.5. Can be sized.
MEASUREMENTS : Setting is 2.1cm x 5mm. Rises 3.5mm from finger. Band is 3mm wide on the lower half
WEIGHT : 6.1 grams
CONDITION : This ring is solid and well made and in very good antique condition with no obvious wear. The setting holds the stones securely. The band has evidence of resizing but this is purely cosmetic and looks more noticible on the photos than with the naked eye!
It will be presented in a lovely new presentation ring box. Old ring box not included.

In the UK most antique & vintage diamond rings & jewellery do not come with certificates or appraisals. Some pieces are appraised by a registered independent National Association of Jewellers Appraiser & Valuer and this will be clearly stated on the listing : Certificated Rings

Due to the age and nature of antique pieces our jewellery doesn't come with a guarantee, however, we check and test everything carefully and only sell items in good wearable condition that we would be happy to own ourselves.

Yes, we accept returns. Keep the tag on the ring and contact us within 7 days of receiving the item so we can give you the returns address. You have 14 days from receipt to send it back. We do not accept returns for items which have been resized or altered by our jeweller or yours. The return shipping is paid by the buyer and is not refundable.

We never sell anything that has been extensively restored or altered or isn't in good wearable condition. See our Buying Guide
